That stuff is so full of chemicals it's not cider at all. Reading online from drinkaware and some others they'll always talk just about the alcohol units that ideally shouldn't be exceeded per week. We know binge drinking can be harmful but I would hazard a guess these white ciders are even worse because they aren't natural. The body is trying to deal with the alcohol and all that nasty artificial chemical crap as well.

Thank you for this information, it's strange that our city's story along the docks isn't more widely known or talked about. Since atleast as far back as several of my great great great great grandfathers right through to my own grandfather only a few decades ago almost all of the males in my family spent their entire working lives on Derrys docks.

Thing is, no normal drinker would touch this stuff. Only students looking to binge drink and vulnerable alcoholics would drink this stuff. The makers of this know it. They profit off the misery of alcoholics.

I was an alcoholic. My drink of choice was white rum. But I still relate to this story and all the horrors of alcoholIsm. Appreciate this video. And yes of course I have dabbled with FJ at some point, it was total gut rot. K cider was more my thing. And that was even stronger!
